Have you ever wanted to travel to a place where the city comes to life? Where the lights make the streets look as if they’re dancing? Where music roams every nook and cranny, and stars walk the streets just like you and me? If so, I think you should take a trip down to the lively home of country music; where you might just run across a legend yourself.

There’s a place in the southern United States where the streets seem to come alive at night. Neon signs, bold music, and lively people are what make Nashville feel like a completely different world. Back in the year 1925, famous radio station WSM took Nashville by storm. The station launched a broadcast called “Grand Ole Opry”. After many years of a growing station, and growing talent in the city; Nashville was finally dubbed the name ”music city” in 1950. The nickname still stands today. The city was and is home to some of the most notable names in country music. Nashville has quickly became one of the biggest areas for the production of music as well. Huge record labels such as Capitol Records and Sony Records have made their way into Nashville helping grow its music industry very quickly. The city that once was a small town now booms with success and talent. That’s why we’re taking a trip there today ourselves. I will be showing you all of the Must-See Destinations, so that on your next trip to Music City you too will live like a star.
RESTAURANTS:
One thing I learned while in Nashville, Tennessee was that country music and neon lights aren’t it’s only good factors. In fact, some of the best cuisine I’ve had has been in the heart of Nashville. Today, I’ve gathered together some of my favorites; and readers favorite restaurants, in good ole Music City. So, heres my top picks for the Good Eats of Nashville.

Nashville is known for their delicious food; which is why I have prepared a list composed of every meal of the day. Today, we’re going to be starting our day with a personal favorite... Brunch!

This is a must when in Music City because it truly shows the history of Nashville.

RYMAN AUDITORIUM
Originally started in 1885; the Ryman Auditorium is one of the most historical and influential locations in Nashville today. It started with the idea of a tabernacle as a religious gathering place for the city. Today, the Ryman is known for their country music shows. However, in the past the Ryman Auditorium has held some of history books most notable names, such as; Susan B. Anthony, Helen Keller, and even held a convention for the Eastman Kodak company. HERMITAGE
Former United States President Andrew Jackson’s home; also known as the Hermitage is located in Music City. This gorgeous property is known for its stunning gardens and decorative architecture on the main mansion. Today, the mansion and land is used as a museum that teaches about Andrew Jackson himself. You can even visit the burial place of the former President. The museum also teaches about the rich history of Slavery in the south and on the property. It is important for us to learn and understand these things and honor the African Americans who were so brave in such a scary time. Understanding America’s past is a huge mission of the Hermitage today, and I truly believe that it is worth the visit; to educate ourselves on our past, honor those brave souls involved, and keeping the history alive so that future generations can see and learn about America’s past.

THE PARTHENON
An exact replica of the original in Athens, Greece; the Parthenon is a huge fan- favorite.
